Perfect Matte — Glaze Powder
Perfect Matte is exactly what its name suggests — a beautifully balanced matte glaze with a smooth, soft surface and a subtle buttery feel. Its refined finish feels pleasant to the touch without being dry or chalky.
Equally lovely on porcelain and a variety of stoneware bodies, it offers a beautiful tactile experience alongside its understated matte appearance.
Recommended Firing Range
1200–1280°C (Cone 6–9)
Pictured samples are fired to 1260°C (Cone 8, ≈ 2300°F).
Lead-free • Cadmium-free
Mixing Guidelines
Begin with 0.8:1 water-to-powder ratio.
Sieve thoroughly.
Add a little extra water if needed to reach your preferred consistency.
IMPORTANT:
You must mix the entire dry bag at once.
Because the glaze is hand-blended, ingredients are not perfectly uniform in small portions. Mixing only part of the bag will produce uneven results.
Yield reference:
500 g (≈ 1.1 lb) of dry powder makes approx. 800 ml (≈ 27 fl oz) of liquid glaze.
Application Methods
Apply an even coat using any method:
• dipping
• pouring
• brushing
• spraying
